VOLANS Lesser MPJ Hemi Implant System
The VOLANS Lesser MPJ Hemi implant is the metallic hemi implant designed to restore the normal biomechanics
of the joint while improving range of motion and correcting dorsal subluxation. This is accomplished by minimal
bone resection and the anatomic, contoured articulating surface simulating phalangeal articulation. The dedicated
instrumentation allows for simple implantation which provides for rapid post-operative recovery while minimizing
the possibility of transfer lesions.
Description
The VOLANS Lesser MPJ Hemi implant is an excellent option for arthritis in the lesser metatarsal phalangeal joint.
The proven technology of hemiarthroplasty is applied to the lesser digits for treatment of arthritis, Freiberg’s disease,
post traumatic arthritis and metatarsal head fractures.
